Avenged Sevenfold

7 Lagu Fenomenal dari Avenged Sevenfold Versi Sevenfoldism Blog

    Banyak Instrumen yang melatarbelakangi suara M. Shadows di lagu ini, Mulai dari Terompet, Biola, sampai Paduan Suara, semuanya menciptakan Masterpiece.

    Vengeance yang menjadi Melodist di lagu pertama Avenged Sevenfold ini, dengan model Video klip mereka sendiri dan juga Istri M. Shadows, Victoria Shadows.

    Synyster Gates sempat gagal beberapa kali dalam pembuatan lagu ini, dan kata - kata seperti, "Fuck" pun keluar dari mulutnya dan tak dapat terelakan lagi, selain itu lagu ini juga kabarnya dinyanyikan oleh hampir separuh penduduk dunia, wah, fantastis!

    Banyak Musisi yang kagum terhadap lagu ini, Khususnya para Drummer. The Rev mampu mengerahkan kemampuan yang hanya dimilikinya di lagu ini, dan membuat para musisi mengacungkan jempol untuk kerja kerasnya ini, juga sempat menjadi OST Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen.

5. I Won't see you tonight Part 1 & Part 2
    Dengan dentangan Keyboard ala The Rev, mampu membuat lagu yang didedikasikan untuk Mantan Bassis mereka, Justin Sane ini menjadi lagu yang pantas untuk didengarkan karena lagu ini agak - agak slow, namun tak menghilangkan unsur metalcore ala Avenged Sevenfold.

    Tak dapat dipungkiri, lagu ini memang pantas masuk ke daftar 7 Lagu Fenomenal dari Avenged Sevenfold, setelah sukses dengan Album Walking the Fallen dan Sounding Seventh Trumpet, Lagu ini lah yang membawa A7x semakin berjaya di belantika musik Internasional.

    Sebuah Lagu karya Brian Elwin Haner, jr. yang khusus didedikasikan untuk Drummer mereka, The Rev. Lagu ini memang pantas masuk ke daftar, Shadow bernyanyi dengan penuh penghayatan yang dalam, yang terbukti dengan Scream yang sedikit berbeda, apalagi di Video klipnya, dia sempat menangis, Sebuah Tribut Untuk James Owen Sullivan.

Brian Elwin Haner, jr. Atau biasa kita kenal sebagai Synyster Gates, menciptakan sebuah lagu, untuk mendiang sahabatnya, THE REV dengan Judul "So Far Away". Sedari kecil, Syn terus selalu ada di samping The Rev, bahkan sudah menjadi keluarga sendiri bagi Syn. Begitupun M. Shadows, 18 Tahun bersama dengan James Owen Sullivan, adalah kenangan terindah, bahkan Shadows pernah bertutur, "Aku menyayangimu Jimmy, dan Aku merasa menjadi lelaki yang paling beruntung, menemanimu selama 18 Tahun.", Jimmy "The Rev" memang sangat fenomenal, dikenal sebagai sosok yang Sensual, Kontroversial, sampai yang konyol sekalipun, dia bukan hanya seorang penggebuk drum biasa, dia adalah Multi Instrumentalis, dia adalah Komponis yang hebat, dia adalah pencipta lagu yang merdu, dan lebih dari itu, dia telah menyentuh Hati mereka penggemar Band asal Huntington Beach, California ini. Di Video Klip nya, Avenged Sevenfold, menunjukan kepada kita, bagaimana kedekatan mereka dengan sang drummer yang menjadi legenda, dengan menampilkan sosok mereka di masa lalu, tentu bukan sebenarnya, hanya perwakilan saja. Perlu diingat bahwa Papa Gate's juga ikut menyumbangkan ide bahkan suara gitarnya dalam lagi ini. Vengeance menggunakan gitar Akustik, dan Suara sang Vokalis, M. Shadows, terdengar merdu dan berbeda dari biasanya, Scream yang dia keluarkan, berbeda dengan sebelumnya, Scream-nya seolah - olah menggambarkan tangis kesedihan, penyesalan, dan rasa kehilangan yang teramat sangat. Lima Puluh Fakta Tentang Avenged Sevenfold [COPAS]

1. Nama “synyster” berawal dari percakapan syn dan mendiang the rev sehabis sebuah konser, “Aku tahu kita akan terkenal, sekarang panggil aku “Synyster Gates”. Sedangkan nama “Gates” diiambil dari nama tenar ayah syn yg berprofesi sbagai pelawak dngan nma ‘Papa Gates’.

2. Syn dan Zacky bakal menggunakan gitar baru di tahun 2010, gitar syn masih sama sperti dulu, schecter synyster custom, sedangkan yg bru motif garis2 silver nya berwarna mrah. Sedangkan gitar Zacky msih belum
diketahui spesifikasinya.

3. Gitar Synyster custom milik syn hnya di produksi 100 unit, dengan bandrol kurang lebih $1000 per unit.
 


 
4. Syn suka banget ngucapin klimat ini: “See in fiveteen minutes!!”

5. Pada saat konser di LBC, johnny nyanyiin lgu seize the day (cuma intronya) yg mengundang tawa para penonton.

19. Lagu Almost Easy menjadi soundtrack Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

20. Semasa muda, The Rev bandel banget, sering berkelahi, dan mencuri. The Rev pernah dipenjara beberapa kali karena perbuatannya itu.

21. Pada Agustus 2008, album Selftitled mereka mendapat Kerrang Award untuk Kategori Album terbaik (sebabnya karena lagu2 yang bergantian sukses merajai chart lagu2 metal, lagu2 itu adalah Almost Easy, Dear God, Afterlife.

22. Anabel Lee adalah judul sebuah puisi karangan Edgard Allen Poe yang jadi dasar di lagu “A Little Piece of Heaven”.

23. Single Bat Country sempat mampir di US Hot 100, di posisi 60.

24. Almost Easy sempet jadi jawara chart radio UK.

25. Lagu Bat Country dibuat untuk mengenang Hunter S. Thompson.

26. M. Shadows pernah “membunuh” kepala sekolahnya???
Ceritanya gini, kenakalan Matt sering membuat Kepsek nya sakit jantung.Sampai akhirnya satu kenakalan yg dilakuin Matt benar-benar “ngirim” sang kepsek ke ruang ICU. Matt menghancurkan seluruh properti sekolahnya saat di kelas tujuh. Nggak berapa lama, terdengar kabar kalo sang kepsek tewas, jadilah dia dapet julukan “the kid that killed the principal”.

27. Matt & A7X membuat lagu2 di album “Sounding The Seventh Trumpet” n “Waking The Fallen” tanpa punya bekal teknik menyanyi apa-apa, makanya abis itu musibah menimpa tenggorokannya.

28. Setelah kecelakaan itu, teknik bernyanyi Matt di album-album selanjutnya berubah total..gak melulu scream, melainkan lebih melodius.

29. Matt amat peduli dengan nasib tentara Amrik yang diberangkatkan ke Irak. Buat mereka, cowok kekar ini bikin lagu berjudul Missing In Action (M.I.A).

30. Matt sering bantuin band lainnya sebagai vokalis tamu. Contohnya dia gantiin Jonathan Davies di KoRn pas Download Festival 2006. Selain itu, dia juga sempet tampil di album Good Charlotte, Cowboy Troy, Death By Stereo, dan Bleeding Through .

31. Zacky Vengeance adalah orang pertama yang nemuin akronim A7X .

32. Gitar Signature nya ZV, didesain sendiri sm dia. Mulai dari bentuk, warna, sampai “jeroan”nya. Untuk ukuran, gitar ini emang dibuat sesuai dengan postur badan dan ukuran tangan Zacky.

33. Lagu pertama yang bisa dimaenin Synyster Gates dengan gitarnya adalah “Stairway To Heaven” sewaktu dia masih kelas 6 SD padahal dia gak pernah ikut kursus gitar sama sekali.

34. Synyster menerima Young Shredder Awards dari majalah Metal Hammer tahun 2006, di tahun yang sama, Syn juga meraih penghargaan Guitarist of The Year dari majalah Total Guitar.

35. Johnny Christ adalah bassis ketiga A7X setelah Daemon Ash dan Justin Meacham (Sane).

36. Demi bergabung dengan A7X, Johnny rela meninggalkan bangku sekolahnya dan dia gak pernah menyesali keputusan ini. Dia meninggalkan sekolahnya pas SMA nya tahun kedua. Dia bilang gini, “Gue emang udah gak punya bakat di jalur akademis. Jadi gue konsentrasi di musik”.

37. Kerjaan Johnny selain ngeband cuma bersantai, menghabiskan waktu utk hobinya atau sekedar ngurusin rambutnya yang sering ganti2 model.

38. waktu masih TK, Johnny sering ditakut-takutin sama The Rev.

39. Yang ngajakin Johnny masuk A7X adalah Matt Baker, adik Zacky.

40. Semasa muda, The Rev bandel banget, sering berkelahi, dan mencuri. The Rev pernah dipenjara beberapa kali karena perbuatannya itu.

41. Waktu masih 15 tahun, The Rev sama temennya pernah tertangkap mencuri dari sebuah toko elektronik dan mencoba kabur dari polisi. Mereka ketangkep, n pasal pencurian bersenjata pun jatuh ke mereka.

42. The Rev adalah multi-instrumetalis, dia bisa maen Drum, Piano, Bass, dan Gitar. Dia juga bisa nyanyi.

43. Johnny Christ adalah seorang bassis yang amat berbakat, sejak kenal bas umur 8 tahun, Johnny samasekali nggak pernah ikut kursus. Bermodal liat permainan orang lain, dia langsung praktek. Dasarnya berbakat, ngintip sebentar, jari-jarinya udah mampu menerjemahkan chord dengan cepat.

44. Johnny Christ adalah seorang metrosexual. Baginya perawatan rambut is a must. Johnny pun punya trik khusus saban menggelar konser di negara yang sinar mataharinya terik. Selalu ada sun cream di travel bag-nya. “Gue nggak mau kulit gue terbakar matahari!”, gitu katanya.

45. Synyster Gates punya proyekan lain diluar ngeband. Bareng pacarnya, Michelle DiBenedetto, mereka bikin clothing line yang namanya Syn Gates Clothing.

46. Zacky adalah seorang yang multi-talented. Selain main alat musik, dia juga jago menggambar, mendesain, dan olahraga Basket, Bisbol, dll.

47. Berkat talentanya yang jago mendesain itu, dia juga punya clothing line yang dia beri nama Vengeance University. Dan kabarnya, produknya itu udah terjual sampe ke seluruh Amerika n Kanada.

48. The Rev punya enam mobil, mobil sebanyak itu dia beli supaya tiap hari dia bisa ganti-ganti mobil terus. Tapi ironisnya, dia gak punya rumah. Hidupnya masih nomaden, paling sering keliatan di rumah Synyster Gates yang notabene tetangganya sejak kecil. Mobilnya The Rev juga sering diparkir di Laundromat, pusat laundry self service di Amrik.

49. Pada tanggal 28 Desember 2009, James Owen Sullivan as The 'Rev' ditemukan tidak bernyawa di dalam bagasi di rumah orang tua nya. ada indikasi kematian The 'Rev' disebabkan karena penyalahgunaan obat-obat terlarang,selang setahun kemudian posisi nya digantikan sementara oleh Mike Portnoy yang notabene drummer favorit The 'Rev' di belantika musik. posisi sementara Mike Portnoy untuk menjalani sisa konser tour Avenged Sevenfold.

50. Arin Illejay terpilih sebagai drummer baru di Avenged Sevenfold, mantan drummer band Confide ini menggantikan The 'Rev' yang meninggal dunia pada Desember 2009 silam. Arin sendiri 'dilantik' pada awal tahun 2011 guna melancarkan tour A7X di berbagai kota dan merampungkan video klip dari singel kedua dalam album baru mereka yang berjudul 'Welcome To Family'
